Boycloak Magazine: A Fanzine

"Boy Cloak Magazine: A Fanzine" is first and foremost a labour of love. Man, are we working on this thing. In general, however, it's a hefty, collaborative zine based on the world of The Adventure Zone: Graduation and loosely modelled after an in-canon issue of Boy Cloak(s) Magazine! There's a wealth of tips, articles, and goofs parodying real magazines and fantasy bs, but you best believe it also includes the characters we know and love.

This project is being put together by a huge team of fans including staff, artists, writers, graphic designers, cosplayers and editors. This is a work in progress and a learning experience, so please bear with us! We plan to have the physical zine in your hands before July.

If you buy the digital zine only, your money won't go to physical production (we think that's fair). However, a good chunk of the funds from those who buy the physical product will also be used to produce and ship out the zine. We have printed 64 high-quality copies, and the number of spots in each tier reflects that.

We have also made stickers and adding a couple more goodies ~

We will be totally transparent, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out!

All profits (excluding production) will be going to Kids Help Phone. They are Canada’s only 24/7, national support service. They offer professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people (with no age limit) in both English and French. Over quarantine, they have seen an unparalleled rise in users. The TAZ community is full of young people and people who know what it's like to deal with mental health issues. So, we think this charity is a great way to give back. Both KHP and the zine are based in Canada (plus, your dollar will go farther than in the US). KHP also been accredited since 2013 by Imagine Canada's Standards Program for excellence in nonprofit accountability, transparency, governance, fundraising, and staff and volunteer management. One of our zine staff members has volunteered for them before and can vouch for their incredible work. They recently created Finding Hope: Kids Help Phone’s Action Plan for Supporting First Nations, Inuit and Métis Young People, and need support to keep their services growing and evolving.
